        The vibration of the bearing is the regular reciprocating movement of the bearing near its equilibrium position during operation. The strength of the vibration is measured by the amount of vibration. If the amount of vibration exceeds the allowable range, the bearing will generate a large dynamic load and noise, which will affect its performance and service life. In severe cases, it will lead to early failure of bearings and machine parts.
        Therefore, during the use of bearings, large vibrations should be avoided as much as possible. The main methods for reducing vibration are:
Reduce the excitation force that causes vibration in the application
        When the radial load acts on the bearing, the number of rolling elements subjected to the load during the rotation may slightly change. This causes the bearing to slightly move in the direction of the load and unavoidably generates vibration, but the shaft can be applied to all the rolling elements. Pretensioning to reduce vibration, but this method does not apply to cylindrical roller bearings.
        Reduce the shape deviation of mating parts
        If there is an interference fit between the bearing ring and the bearing housing or the shaft, the bearing ring may follow the shape of the connecting part. If there is a deviation between the two, vibration may occur during operation. Therefore, the journal and socket must be machined to the required tolerance standards.
