Common methods of bearing heating are:
1, bearing heating - heating plate heating method:
As long as the bearing is placed on a hot plate with a temperature of 100° C. for several minutes, this method is the most simple and convenient. If it is flipped several times, the bearing can be heated evenly, and the efficiency is also high. This method can be used regardless of the size of the bearing. heating.
2, bearing heating - electric furnace heating method:
The bearings are placed in a closed, temperature-controlled electric furnace for heating. This method provides uniform heating, accurate temperature control, and rapid heating, making it suitable for a large number of heated bearings.
3, bearing heating - induction heating method:
This method uses an induction heater to quickly, reliably and cleanly heat the bearing to the required temperature. This method is particularly suitable for those applications where the inner ring is tightly fitted, and because only the inner ring is heated and the outer ring is heated. Very little, so that it can be easily mounted on the shaft, it is also easy to fit into the seat hole.
4, bearing heating - oil tank heating method:
This method is a widely used conventional heating method. Metal mesh is installed at 50 to 70mm from the bottom of the oil bath. The bearings are placed on the net and large bearings are hung by hooks. The bearing is not suitable to be placed directly on the bottom of the groove to prevent the local heated temperature of the bearing contacting the bottom of the groove from being too high, or the dirt deposited at the bottom of the groove enters the bearing. The main points of attention when using the oil sump heating method are as follows: Non-corrosive mineral oils with good heat stability should be used. It is better to use transformer oil (mechanical oil can also be used). Oil and containers should be kept clean. The capacity of the oil sump should be determined by the size of the heated bearing and the amount of oil. If the container is too small, the oil temperature in the bearing will drop rapidly in continuous operation and the effect will be poor.
The main points of the bearing heating installation method:
1. The temperature of bearing heating must be controlled very well. If the temperature is too high, the bearing may be damaged. If the temperature is too low, the expansion of the ferrule may be insufficient, resulting in no significant effect. The amount of thermal expansion of the inner diameter of the inner ring obtained at a heating temperature of 80 to 100°C is already sufficient for a bearing having a general interference.
2. Once the required heating temperature is reached, the bearing installation must be performed as soon as possible to avoid bearing cooling and installation difficulties.
3. When the bearing is cooled, there will be some contraction in the width direction. Therefore, when mounting, apply a certain pressure to press the inner ring to the shoulder, and after the bearing is cooled, use a very thin feeler. A simple test depends on whether there is a gap between the inner ring face and the shoulder.
